Owner/ Veterinarian
Dr. Nelson grew up in Gaylord, MN and is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and the University of Minnesota. She has 20 years experience as a small animal veterinarian and enjoys caring for all pets, especially both cats and dogs.
In college, she got her first Maine Coon cat, who she taught to walk on a leash so he could accompany her to classes and trips to the library. Dr. Nelson and her family now enjoy both cat and dog companion pets. In her free time she enjoys gardening, cooking, fishing, and participating in outdoor activities with her family.
